PH 4½-4 GLASS Pendant Lamp

PH & Louis Poulsen's 1925-1967 partnership resulted in PH's glare-free lighting. Three-shade line has thirty lights, three outdoor models. System offers 1000s of variations, colors, & sizes. Logarithmic spiral ensures even light across shade; glass diffuses to reduce glare & shadows. 3/2 Academy has 30 cm top shades, 2/2 lower for lower hanging; released 2000.

Light concept
The fixture is designed based on the principle of a reflective three-shade system, which directs the majority of the light downwards. The shades are made of mouth-blown opal three-layer glass, which is glossy on top and sandblasted matt on the underside, giving a soft and uniform light distribution.
